Talking A Little About Myself | Livia McQueen ♡

Hello beauties, I feel like I haven't talked a lot about myself. So, today I'll do it and you can get to know me more.
I was born in Turin, Italy, on 18 october 1996 and my parents decided to name me Livia, just because it is easy to pronounce. I have two sisters, one is 3 years younger than me and the other one has 6 years old and she is the cutest child ever! When I was in elementary school I had the best time ever! I recall that I was always playing around with other kids and I had so much fun. Then my life changed when I started to attend middle school. There, I realised that I was different from everyone else. I was, I am, Chinese, so my face drew people's attention and some of them - even though they didn't even know me - offended me with every kind of insult. They seemed to have fun screaming at me and I got so upset that I could not help but stay still and I didn't have the courage to react. Luckily, I had few but precious friends that were always with me a…

Clinique Even Better Glow SPF 15 Foundation REVIEW

Hello beauties,
how are you doing? First of all, happy December! Yay, I am freezing!! Yesterday there was the first snowfall of the year. I woke up early in the morning, and when I looked out of the window I was quite surprised to see the roofs, the streets and the sidewalks all covered in white and bright. "Whoa!", I thought "it's finally snowing, and it's beautiful!". Then, I went out, and I totally changed my mind... My feet hurt because of the frost, my nose kept running and even blowing it didn't make any difference. Man, I wish it was  Summer already... Cold weather is absolutely a nightmare.

Anyway, today I want to talk to you about the Clinique Even Better Glow foundation. There are 30 shades available, from which you can choose the right one for your skin tone. I have the shade "CN 70 Vanilla", a medium cool neutral tone which is slightly dark for me. The product contains Vitamin C, and it has SPF 15. I really like the packaging, sinc…

L'ERBOLARIO ALGADETOX Purifying and Exfoliating Face Oil-Gel REVIEW ❀

Hello beauties,
how are you doing?
This post is going to be about the "Algadetox" purifying and exfoliating face oil-gel, from L'Erbolario. It's a product that might revolutionize your skincare routine. At least, it did revolutionize mine. It symbolizes innovation, and quality. Why? Well, because "Algadetox" aims at giving a new life to your dull skin. How? Thanks to its natural ingredients. It is worth mentioning the Laminaria Algae, the Sea Lavender, and the Jojoba oil.

I've been using this gel for more than a month now, on alternate days, and there's been quite a big improvement. I have less pimples, and the pores are not as big as a table tennis balls  sugar granules, not anymore.

The gel contains white microspheres of jojoba oil, which melt down with the heat of the fingers. When the spheres melt, the gel turns into oil. I like to give myself a nice and relaxing facial massage with the oil which, by the way, has a really pleasant scent. After a…

Hello beauties!
If you don't know who I am, nice to meet you, I am Livia and I am a 21-year-old cinephile. I spend most of my free time watching movies (or TV series or anime, it depends on my mood) and reading. They are probably the main things that keep me going, hehe.
Since there are a lot of people out there who love movies too, I decided to share with you some of my picks. Because writing a long and endless list didn't seem a good idea to me, I decided to choose the MUST-MUST-watch movies, the ones that you should watch at least once in your lifetime or else your life will be missing a piece of the puzzle.
Here they go!

1 - INCEPTION (Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi, 2010)

What if you have the ability to get into a person's mind and get any information? And what if you can do it through their dreams, the most intimate things a human being owns?
Dominic Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) can. With his partners, he has to accomplish a difficult task. But there's something about his p…

8 Fall Wardrobe Essentials: Stylish and Affordable ♡

Wait, is it already Fall? Man, another year passed so quickly. I bet you all know what Fall means. A rainbow of multi-colored leaves, rainy and windy days, not-so-good-days because of a cold, Halloween. And, of course, it is time to change the Summer wardrobe for Autumn and Winter!
Are you considering getting new fashionable and affordable pieces (the words "fashionable" and "affordable" must stick together)?
Then, I'll share with you some of my favorite ones, and I'll give you some tips on how you can style them and where you can get them!

"Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,     Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;  Conspiring with him how to load and bless     With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;  To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,     And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;        To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells     With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,  And still more, …

This is what you read on FENTYBEAUTY's official website.

That's right: because Rihanna had it all mapped out when she decided to create her own high-end cosmetic line. What does it offer? Anything. The line includes - among the primer, the highlighters and the brushes - 40 shades of foundation, ranging from lighter to deeper tones. And, THIS is what makes RiRi's line different from the other make up companies. The latter (not all of them, but the majority) have never cared enough about providing a wider range of choices to people with deep skin tone. By the way, such a "discrimination" does not concern the beauty field solely. But that is another story.

People of any ethnicity are most likely going to find the right shade for them, depending on their undertones.…

L'Oréal Two-phase Make Up Remover REVIEW ❀

Hello beauties,
today I want to share with you my favorite product of the month, that I tried recently and that I am LOVING! It's the L'Oréal two-phase make up remover, for waterproof make up.
The product comes in a handy and simple packaging. Guys, it works soo well! A single swipe does half the job. It doesn't even make your skin feel greasy; it's gentle, so it can be used on sensitive skin too.

I swear, I was quite surprised when I first used it! "Why didn't I know about this?"
If I have to compare it to the Sephora make up remover (here's the review, if you are interested), I prefer this one better. A lot better.
Same amount, different price.
I definitely have no doubt about which one I will get once I finish them.

Pro: gentle, it doesn't leave the skin greasy, it removes make up quickly and well.
Con: None
Price: 4.20 €

Have you ever tried this make up remover? If yes, how do you feel about it?
Let me know in the comment section!
